Van Toen Calendula is a vegetable balm and is ideally suited to keep on hand if you have young children who play outside a lot. A fall happened in no time, resulting in chapped knees and elbows.

Calendula+ is not only a beautiful balm with natural calendula extract. Calendula+ is enriched with ingredients that do wonders for your skin. It is a beautiful balm with castor oil, Tamanu oil, Elemi and Carrot extract. All added for the best possible support for rapid skin recovery.

Calendula + is a balm and not a cream. So no water has been added. A major advantage of this is that it contains a nice, high concentration of active substances. The balm keeps the skin a bit oilier than a cream and therefore also supports the natural hydration of the skin itself.

Active ingredients of the calendula balm:

• Castor Seed Oil: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil is often called castor oil for a reason. Also, this oil is called castor seed oil, castor oil or castor oil. This oil nourishes and softens the skin and protects the skin against dehydration.
• Tamanu oil: Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, or tamanu oil, is rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids. Tamanu oil has traditionally been used for skin problems, but strangely enough this ingredient is still on the rise in the Western world. Tamanu oil has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Not only useful in Calendula +, but is therefore also widely used in the care of acne or eczema skin. Tamanu is increasingly used in anti-aging products. It supports the production of collagen and the regeneration of the skin, the fatty acids moisturize that skin. The Tamanu oil is used in the Calendula + because it plays a very supportive role in chapped areas, for example on hands, feet and after falls.
• Elemi Canarium Luzonicum Gum Oil: or Elemi, has antiseptic and antifungal properties. It supports skin recovery, such as wounds, scrapes and falls.
• Calendula Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: or calendula extract, is obtained from the flowering parts of the calendula plant, also known as the marigolds. Calendula extract has an anti-inflammatory effect, has a calming effect on the skin and promotes skin regeneration. The burning sensation that can immediately arise from an abrasion is also immediately softened. It also helps prevent inflammation when the skin has become damaged.
• Carrot extract Daucus Carota Sativa Root Extract: or root extract, has revitalizing properties (therefore also popular in anti-aging products), has an astringent effect and antiseptic properties.

Use: Apply several times a day as needed and massage in lightly.
